Eminem’s new album, “Marshall Mathers LP2,” went on sale last week. Hitsdailydouble.com is predicting a debut full week sale of 500,000 copies. That’verts about 2 or Three times Katy Perry or Justin Timberlake any of the other number 1s within the last several weeks. It’azines more even in comparison to the 658K from Drake. Why is “MMLP” this well? One reason exclusively: “The Monster” featuring Mary j is a monster success single. I love that. Who doesn’t?
It’azines totally fresh plus original. Rihanna truly does no yodeling, and sings the hell from it. Eminem raps, but isn’t unpleasant. It’s just wonderful to hear his voice. Most of Eminem’s record is derived from samples, as well. But “The Monster” is surely an original song by up-and-comer Bebe Rexha and Brian Fryzel. There are a variety of other songwriting credit, like Rihanna in addition to Eminem, but those first two wrote the song. (No one just publishes articles a song in reputation without giving up points.)
Anyway, Eminem should be thrilled. “This Monster” will help propel the actual album over a million copies very quickly. It’verts already number 1. Now I want to hear more tracks from Bebe and Fryzel.
